Fall is here and all the new colors and trends are appearing, tempting us into amping up the glamour quotient.  Today I am in love with this gorgeous new look that combines bedroom eyes with an innocent baby doll complexion and pout.

One of the key elements of this look are the eyebrows which frame the forehead and eyes in a polished and sophisticated way.  You can’t miss eyebrows like these that punctuate the face.  Since few of us have eyebrows as full and lush as these (even my model needed a little extra help to fill them in to this shape), start with an eyebrow pencil that can draw in individual eye brow hairs, like my all-time favorite Brow Wiz by Anastasia. Hold them in place and add even more impact with Benefit Cosmetics Speed Brow gel that brushes on with a tiny brush wand.

I love the new eyeshadow palettes from Dolce & Gabbana, particularly this smoky quad that does everything from base color to highlighter.  The bronze and coppery brown tones bring out the green in my eyes and the darker shade deepens the crease.  I can be as dramatic as I like depending on how much of the darker shade I apply to the lids.  My model also wore an eyeliner but I find that if I apply the right amount of the darker shade of shadow I can achieve a softer look that suits me.  I even like the blend it in a bit with my fingertips.  Finish it off with a  coat of the new gel mascara from Marc Jacobs for shiny, long lashes.

The soft side of this look that makes the eyes the center of attention comes from the peachy pink blush from Kat Von D, and the sheer finish baby pink lip balm with a golden shimmer from Yves Saint Laurent.

Make it a day look with a lighter application of the darker eye shadow shades, and amp it up in the pm with a second coat of mascara and stronger eyeshadow. Hard and soft, sweet but edgy, all at the same time.  This just might be your favorite fall makeup look.
