Take it outside

Running bare foot in the sand is one of the best leg toning exercises there is, and most of the models in Miami Beach take full advantage of the beach to run, play volleyball, swim, and let’s be honest – to ogle each other – which is all part of the fun.  Miami Beach has a steady stream of runners along the sand and the boardwalk every morning, with people exercising before heading off to work.  Others stretch it out in the downward dog position at sunrise along the shore.  Exercising outdoors gives your body a more balanced workout, connects you with the environment around you and disconnects you from the virtual world, not to mention artificial lighting and forced air in the gym. We surely get enough of that in the winter.  Even if all you do is go for a walk, get outdoors and feel the air on your limbs, quiet your mind and ready yourself for the day.  Make it a good one.
